The 2024 election saw Scottish Labour gain 37 of the 57 Scottish seats in the House of Commons and the party's leader, Anas Sarwar, hailed it as a 'historic day for Scotland and for the entire UK'.
Scotland is crucial to the policy and politics of the whole of the UK, and Scottish Labour now has a loud voice in the debates to come. From energy to planning and from devolution to the fortunes of the Labour government, many of the challenges and opportunities that policymakers and industry face can be found in Scotland.
The New Statesman has been running party conference fringe events for more than 15 years, and we are delighted to be holding events at this year's Scottish Labour Conference in Glasgow. Join us on the 21st and 22nd February as we examine the future of energy and housing policy in Scotland.
No other partnered event will get you as close to the biggest names and most important conversations in Scottish Labour politics as the New Statesman fringe programme will this year.
Our events will take place just outside the conference secure zone, so you will not need a pass to attend. Register for free here.
