DAY 3 – Wednesday 12th October 2022
Speeding up the energy transition
The energy transition is more than just developing a low-carbon economy: it involves the transformation of the entire global energy system to meet net-zero targets. Against a backdrop of regulatory uncertainties and elevated energy prices, how can the private sector lead the energy transition and drive rapid change, while ensuring fair access to affordable and reliable energy for all?
Day 3 will explore how companies can create robust, sustainable business models and seize the opportunities derived from a global transition to a cleaner, smarter and more resilient economy.
This free-to-attend event is a unique opportunity for leaders of business and policy to come together and put their collective expertise behind addressing some of the immediate challenges that will shape the COP27 agenda, as well as accelerating the pace of change brought about by COP26.
